ROUND 2 PICK 36 ~ DEREK WOLFE DT CINCINNATI
Wolfe is an immediate upgrade at DT for the Broncos. Marcus Thomas & Broderick Bunkley didnt record a sack last season. Wolfe had 9.5 in 2011 and was the Big East defensive Player of the Year.
ROUND 2 PICK 57 ~ BROCK OSWEILER QB ARIZONA STATE
The Broncos found their QB of the Future in Arizona State QB Brock Osweiler. The 6’7″ 240 pounder has the strongest arm in the draft and shows very good accuracy. He needs to improve his decision making in the redzone. Learning from a future hall of famer in Peyton Manning and having John Elway with the team will help the learning process for Osweiler.
ROUND 3 PICK 67 ~ RONNIE HILLMAN RB SAN DIEGO STATE
The Broncos needed a back to take some of the load off of 1,000 yard rusher Willis Mcgahee. Something former first round pick Knowshon Moreno has yet to show. With 4.4 speed and great pass catching ability San Diego State RB Ronnie Hillman should do that.
ROUND 4 PICK 101 ~ OMAR BOLDEN CB ARIZONA STATE
Durability may be an issue but he has tons of upside. Very good tackler. Like his size as well.
ROUND 4 PICK 108 ~ PHILLIP BLAKE C BAYLOR
Interior line depth is something we could use. I just dont like this pick. Blake is 27 years old and I think we could have found a younger better talent in the draft than Blake.
ROUND 5 PICK 137 ~ MALIK JACKSON
Project defensive lineman who needs to get stronger. I dont care for this pick at all.
ROUND 6 PICK 188 ~ Danny Trevathan LB Kentucky
Good late pickup. Is rather small but has coverage skills.
